The rewind (by 10s) and fast forward (by 30s) functions will cause whatever content I'm watching to get the orange loading swirly in the middle of the screen, but instead of resuming, it will just load forever.
I can click on the timeline to another part of the episode, and then click back, and that will usually cause play to resume. Sometimes I have to exit out of the episode and resume it again.
I know it's not my Plex Media Server being slow or lagging, either hard drives or internet speed. The server is on a fiber connection at home and I'm on a 400 mbps internet connection accessing it. I have 7 4tb WD RED NAS drives in RAID 5. I have absolutely no problems Direct Playing 40gb Remuxes or seeking through them generally, it seems to be the use of the fast forward and rewind functions that cause the "infinite loading" error.
It's not a huge deal but it is mildly frustrating and seems to be happening more than usual. I hadn't encountered this odd stalling of content before. It's very noticeable when trying to play a small filesize episode of TV, which will load instantly and seek instantly, but when I use the fast forward and rewind buttons it will just stop working.
Anyone aware of this or have it happening recently? I doubt there's much I can do about but figured I'd ask anyway.
