# \[Feature Request\] Android TV Homescreen button

Please create a way to get back to the main home screen when you are levels deep in the app. Multiple button presses to get back is getting old and most of the other Plex clients have this already.

I’d like this, too. Maybe even have the app set so if you press the home button on your remote it would bounce you back to the main screen and require a double click and a confirmation to exit the app, as other android tv apps currently do.

A long press on the back button would also work and I believe that is how the Roku app works.

Android TV home button takes you out of Plex completely and back to the main Android TV home screen. I don’t believe Plex for Android TV has any button or keyboard shortcut that would bring you back to the main Plex home screen hence the feature request.
Plex guys. I know the AppleTV client has this now as a pop out on the left of the screen. That would work for the Android TV client as well wouldnt it?

Oh, THAT’S what you meant by “Home”… My bad.
