# \[Feature Request\] Cursor auto-focus when searching in Plexamp (Windows/Linux)

This is a minor quality-of-life change, but it would be neat if the search text field was automatically in focus after clicking the search icon. Something like HTML5’s auto-focus attribute. My instinct is to click the search icon and then immediately start typing. There’s no need for this in the mobile applications, but it would really make my day if it found its way into the desktop versions.

Just click twice. Once shows you the other things in the search tab (aural fixations, recent recents). A second focuses the search input.
