# \[Feature Request(?)\] Disallow transcode for certain users.

Hi,

I have a DS415+ which has a fairly powerful processer. I can transcode 1080p fine, but only one stream at a time.  
I’m sharing my library with my family and friends and they are running various clients.

I would like to disallow transcoding for some of the users (forcing them to use a compatible client).

The easiest way might seem to tell them to “buy the app” or “use PHT” but it isn’t always that easy.

Is this a request that makes sense or am I being lazy? 🙂
