As it is, when importing Movies into My Library, I can edit a wide variety of fields, including Title, Sort Title, Studio, Tagline, Summary, Directors, Writers, etc.  One thing that is not available to edit is the Cast Listing.  This becomes an issue when matching your media to a database such as Freebase, where the top three listed cast (the ones that get displayed within Plex and the Roku app) aren't accurate.   For example, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 gets the cast matched as follows:   ![Plex_Screenshot_1.png](http://s24.postimg.org/80zwbgmbp/Plex_Screenshot_1.png)   And Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 (as well as the rest of the films), have the following preferred cast listing:   ![Plex_Screenshot_2.png](http://s24.postimg.org/4inwf2lfp/Plex_Screenshot_2.png)   Often (with other movies) it will have the Top Three Cast as actors who you have never heard of and played very small parts in the movie.  For example, a Mission Impossible movie gets imported without Tom Cruise being in the cast listing.   I understand automatically importing the top three names listed in the online databases.  But I would immensely appreciate the option to edit (or manually enter) which names are displayed for the top three cast.  Ideally, the editing screen would look identical to the other fields (see below) but with the understanding that only the top three names would be displayed (as it is with the top two genres).   ![Plex_Mockup.png](http://s15.postimg.org/seipuhzgr/Plex_Mockup.png)     Thank you so much for your time and consideration.  I really appreciate it! ---

Add my vote to this.  I'd like to be able to edit cast on other videos - home movies.  It's the sensible place to put in names of people in the videos.  Seems like such an obvious thing one would want to do for videos.  ---

Another reason to add this function will be to cover instances where films are unknown to the information supply databases. I have come across some instances of a movie I own which is unknown, or incomplete. These are usually films of non-western origin, like the orient (i.e. Hong Kong), especially if they are older (i.e. prior to 1990). The one I am looking at right now is "Xiang Gang xiao jie xie zhen" from 1987, aka - Miss Hong Kong, which as far as I know, has never had a DVD release yet. I transcoded it from a VCD. ---

I updated some metadata for a home movie and Plex searched the public metadata and came up with a totally incorrect match. I can correct the movie title and many other items (which are then locked from further automatic updating) but I cannot remove incorrect cast members. As others have stated, I would also like to add family member names so that these can be searched in the future. Please add this feature. ---

I’m also frustrated, especially when I’m trying to have an accurate database with correct cast. I cannot imagine that online databases do not have to correct cast of people. For instance for the movie The bodyguard neither Kevin Costner neither Whitney Houston are mentioned as actors while they have the leading role. Ideally we would have a correct import of the leading roles, as this is not possible apparently give us at least the possibility to update the cast list. ---
