It appears that there is no gapless playback support in the normal Plex Windows client (the “Plex for Windows” one here: [https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-app](https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-app))

This creates a really terrible listening experience on some albums, which are designed to be played continuously from start to finish.

(Note: I tried searching but couldn’t find another request for this, which strikes me as odd since this is a super basic feature.)

There are enough requests for gapless playback. No need to create yet another one.

> As mentioned in the comment [here](https://forums.plex.tv/t/implemented-gapless-playback/25925/347) I’m starting this topic to request that gapless playback be implemented in the Samung Tizen client. I’ve only recently started using Plex and am flabbergasted that it’s taken you six years to start implementing this fundamental feature! Please add it to this version of the client too.

> In issue [[Implemented] Gapless Playback](https://forums.plex.tv/t/implemented-gapless-playback/25925/340) it had been suggested by the Plex team to create a new issue for specific players that still experience issues with gapless playback. The Plex Media Player for macOS is one of such players that would greatly benefit from having gapless playback for audio files. Please upvote this feature request to bring it to the devs’ attention.
