This has been requested many times already.
While not built into Plex there are several [apps](http://nzbdrone.com/) [available](http://sickbeard.com/) that can assist you in managing your series.

I use an app called filebot and myepisodes.com...
download filebot and run the script detailed here [MyEpisodes.com Integration](http://filebot.sourceforge.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&p=2629#p2629)... That'll push an updated snapshot of your library to myepisodes.com... run periodically to update, or have it run automatically on folder changes (I use hazel)... from there it's simply a matter of checking the site and you'll see everything your missing...
Further to that if you use the RSS feed for unacquired episodes on myepisodes.com with IFTTT, you can get notification of when episodes air that you haven't got yet....

Even with this being my first post in this forum. The Feature Request is a valid one for me. I normally don't subscribe to a service immediately but I was impressed with the ease of use.
I have seen a number of posts about Leeching and Security fixes and simple wants and wishes.
Let cut to the chase and try to see the bigger picture.
Technology is getting bigger and better each year. Certain Big Name companies have tried to corner the market on Home Entertainment services. If you doubt the statement. Look at all the smart TV's on the market.
More and more each home is building a simple network in their home. It starts with a Very Good Router with a Antenna that will give each device a solid signal and not drop the connection when something else pops up. Building your wireless network today is a big task. You must make sure that nobody can hack into it with all the tools available. To that you add a modem to access the World Wide Web with all of its dark places now having access to your router. You add computers, Tablets, Phones, Gaming consoles, and now TV's to the mix.
Each day I sit and watch technical programs like TWIT.tv and see all the money flowing through companies hands and think about the times I could have made money back then when my mind was sharp and ideas and programming came to me in the middle of the night. Buddy, THOSE days are gone. Today I have to remind myself to shave and brush my teeth (what left of them) before I kiss my fourth wife. You don't want to know about the first 3.
While the smart thing to do is make P.M.S. good, you have to remember that Windows (IE) the company that makes it has tried by making WMS and Media Server. They Failed because of one thing.
A Unified and easy way to keep a catalog of your Movies/Music/Home Videos/TV Series/Photos.......
There are tons of websites out there Peddling their programs and claiming to be the answer to everyone's problem. It is just simple math. If Plex can do what it is doing now. Why can't it pull a filler for an episode that is missing in my collection. I would be willing to share links to my collection if I was sure I would not be abused and thrown to the dogs. If you really believe that the sheriff won't knock on your door because someone complained about some file you or your family has downloaded DONT. I can tell you from real life experience. You don't want to go down that road.
The features I most want on PLEX is a scheduler and a database editor entry that shows me where the file is on my system.
The Scheduler is a simple clock mechanism that in default is 24/7 but you can limit when PMS can be accessed from myplex.
The Database Entry is just where is the file that caused the entry into the database. When I ran the program the first time on my drives, I panicked because it found it all. Even some picture I didn't want to add by default. I went to show my mother how she could scan through my collection of family photos and I blew her mind when it showed some pics that I didn't take but are on a lot of websites. If you know what I mean. At the moment, I am the best guardian because I don't want to haphazardly expose my children or family to any movie or photo.
End of Rant. Now back to our regularly scheduled program

The one I use is Transmogrify for Plex. Just install the extension from the chrome webstore and it just works. Gives you other features as well.

I would liked to see this as well and I had asked about it specifically in relation to DVR functions

and yes using Filebot and sickbeard work to a degree but I would think it will become more important now with DVR working.
and Transmogrify for Plex does not work any more.
