Feature Request: Optionally group listings of dual and multi episodes into a single listing

For two-part (or multi-part) TV episodes that are contained in one file (Battlestar Galactica 1978 S01E01E02E03, for example), or for kid’s shows which often have two stories in one episode / file (which then get listed as two episodes on TheTVDB), I’d like to see a global option to have Plex group the episodes as one in the listing, combining the episode details, such as “Title1 / Title 2 / Title x” for the title, and appending the second and subsequent descriptions to the first for the description. That way, there’s one show listing per file on disk.

(…combining the episode descriptions only if they differ.)

Completely agree - looks so clumsy having the same episode multiple times…

Would like to see this feature implemented where the multi part episode metadata is combined into one item.

I agree, I use plex for my kids, and most of the shows are two episodes in one file.

Yeah, either combine the entries into one or at least mark all entries for one file watched when you watch any one of them
