# \[Feature Request\] Pre-roll Per Genre

I like to make my own pre-roll videos and it would be nice to display pre-roll depending on the genre of the film that is about to be played (Just the primary genre would be fine). It would help get into the mood for the film I’m about to watch.
I would ask for more like decade pre-rolls or selection of pre-rolls from a library but I thought I’d keep it smaller.

The problem with prerolls that it acts like a video that you can fast forward and back which is very confusing. it should be viewed as a sticky video that can be skipped with any button click. Who really needs to know the preroll meta data and title?

I agree. I create my own prerolls too and this is a feature that I would be willing to drop a few bucks on as an add-on.

I’d like to see pre-rolls based on individual movies or movie series also. My Trek films should get their own pre-roll, not just a sci-fi pre-roll.
