# Feature request: preloading cache

Hi all. I’m not sure if the server does this at the moment, but it seems like it doesn’t. What I’m proposing is for content to be preloaded and saved in memory when the counter is counting down to the next episode and/or when you have a title selected on the plex UI.
I guess the amount of data loaded depends on the speed of your server and other factors. However, this could be a settable setting with a default setting of maybe 30 seconds of data?
