Add an option to “Re-Record” the TV Show or Movie from the various Plex interfaces under the dropdown menu labeled “MORE” when watching the show. ![](https://sea1.discourse-cdn.com/plex/uploads/default/original/3X/d/e/de2b7463d86cba9f4afa6da93ba5ad4923cd8c17.png) If a show is recorded with poor antenna reception, cuts out early, or any other number or reasons; user should be able to add that specific show title back to the Recording Schedule so that when the program re-airs someday; Plex will replace the poor quality recording with a new version. ---

2021 clean-up: duplicate > [@Delete with the option to re-record](https://forums.plex.tv/t/delete-with-the-option-to-re-record/198403): > > Loving the DVR so far. One missing feature is the ability to delete a recording with the option to re-record the show. This is helpful when the show listing was incorrect (causing the wrong show to be recorded) or there was an issue with the recording (it is a beta recording solution).
