# Feature Request: Screen Brightness Adjustment during content playback

Hi,  
I often start playing a Movie or TV episode on my phone/tablet and then realise it is playing too dark. Presently in order to change the screen brightness I have to stop the movie and go into Android settings to make a change.

Wouldn’t it be better to change the screen brightness when the content is playing within Plex, on the fly?

I believe a simple horizontal left or right swipe with the finger on the screen to change screen brightness from darker to lighter respectively would do the trick. When the content has finished playing or upon exiting the plex app e.g. go to android home screen, screen brightness should go back to its previous setting, so the brightness change is only temporary.

+1 : brightness and loudness via swiping the display (like VLC, MX etc.)
