# \[feature request\] Sort by album title

When displaying albums, there is no way to sort by album title - thereby getting you an alphabetical list of your albums.

It’s possible in Plex for iOS, just not Plexamp.

If you do this, can you also fix the UI issue where (when sorting this way) the title of the album should be in white at the top (as that’s the sort method) with the artist in grey below? It’s a problem in Plex for iOS and Plex web client too.

I’ve documented this issue [here](https://forums.plex.tv/t/fix-confusing-metadata-presentation-when-sorting-by-album-title/588699) in case people don’t understand what I’m talking about.

Following this thread - I don’t understand why sorting by Album Title wasn’t one of the most basic features of Plexamp. It’s hard to market a music player that literally doesn’t let you see an alphabetized list of all of your albums; this is pretty basic functionality that one would expect.

Because it’s so basic, I hope it’s on their radars and is coming very soon!
