# \[Feature request\] Split codec and rating visibility into two options for the player screen (Plexamp)

I don’t use ratings, but I do like to see the codec on the player screen.

I can only enable both, or none.

Would like to disable rating, and keep codec enabled. Seems like a minor adjustment to split this into two options you can enable/disable.

Just to clarify: this is about the player preferences?

`Settings` \> `Experience` \> `Player` \> `Show Codec and Rating`
