# \[Feature Request\] Stop Plex from deleting empty folders function

I know that the function to delete empty folders was added in at some users’ requests and I don’t begrudge that. However, forcing this behavior on all users is not warranted. I personally populate folders with the latest episodes of tv shows and watch them during the week. It’s _extremely_ annoying to have to recreate the same folders every week and leaving an old episode in the folder is not a kind solution. A great compromise would be to have the folder deletion function be something that can be toggled on and off as I’ve seen done in other programs.

Just place all of your TV Shows in one folder, `TV Shows`, and Plex will not remove that. No need to constantly create folders for each show/season if all your doing is keeping one episode at most per show.
Each will need to be in `tv show name - SXXEXX - optional episode title.ext` format

I have multiple shows with more than one file on hand, so putting everything into one folder would be an organizational nightmare. I don’t think PMS should have the power to delete anything without the user granting permission first.
