# Feature Request: Terminate a "Now Playing" activity from server

I would like to see the&nbsp;ability, as the owner of the server, to "stop" content currently being viewed.

&nbsp;

I have a friend who has kids that are notorious for pausing a movie the entire day - this shows as activity on my Plex server. I don't want there to be an open&nbsp;connection for 10-15 hours at a time and would like the ability to terminate that connection if I feel it appropriate.

There are a few requests for this already.&nbsp; So we don't get votes scattered across several posts, I suggest you find one and point this thread to it.&nbsp; You vote by adding a "Like" to the first post in the thread.

As this is a very basic control it was shocking that this wasn't already included in Plex.&nbsp;
