# Fetch failed with code 403

Server Version#: 1.43.5.11029

I’m seeing this error message in the `Plex Media Server.log` when adding some square art and logos to some movies and refreshing them:

`Oct 12, 2026 15:20:40.159 [4772] WARN - [Req#a02/PhotoTranscoder/RemoteAssetFetcher] Fetch of https://metadata-static.plex.tv/4/people/402ff7a5b226068a08cb33a16602606c.jpg failed with code 403`

Not a show stopper as everything works as expected. but thought I should mention it.

I’d wait a few hours, then perform Refresh Metadata on the whole show/movie.

The day after. Refreshed metadata and same `WARN` errors. My guess is that it is due to some actors missing their picture.

No big deal anyway.

I am told that this picture is definitely gone.  
Possible reasons include upstream changes, or DMCA takedowns.

Yes. That could be.

But it’s not artwork or posters, which are the ones that use to be taken down, as all these I have them locally but missing actors pictures and the reason is probably that there are a couple of very unknown actors. Even in their own country 😀

Actor pictures are taken down as well all the time. Usually upon request of the actor themselves (or their representative).
