# Firewall Restrictions?

I am in the US. With my firewall (Unifi Settings \> Security \> Country Restrictions), I blocked all countries and only allowed the US, UK, Japan, and Canada. Something’s off once that goes into effect. From outside my home, I can login, but the admin account has no access to the server. This is also true via the web browser at home. On the Roku devices at home, everything works fine, including the admin (local streaming I’m assuming), but again, admin account still has no access at home via the web client, which I’m assuming is looking for the server from outside the firewall. I revert the firewall to letting every country through and everything works fine again. I’m assuming this has something to do with the Plex login, but what country needs to be open for Plex to see my server with my account?

Nevermind. Solved my problem with a simple ping to plex.tv. I traced the returned IP with any of the IP lookup tools on Google, which was from Ireland. Added Ireland to my country list. Problem fixed!
