# First remote connect to Plex server per day significant delayed

Server Version#:1.43.0.10389  
Player Version#:2025.31.0

I’ve recently been having a problem where I can’t connect to my server remotely (Samsung S25) the first time each day. If I wait 10 seconds or restart the app, the server connects. Subsequent remote connections that day work fine. This wasn’t the case before. I suspect that Plex is still using the old IP address from the previous day. I turn off my NAS at night and turn it back on in the morning. The IP address/prefix changes overnight. Could that be the cause?
