# Free Live TV not working

Player Version#: plex-web, android-mobile, lg-webos

At one point, the Free Live TV channels were working beautifully for me. At one point, I noticed that I cannot access them anymore in _any_ of my players. Going to Plex Web, in my Pinned sources bar, I see “Live TV / On Plex” with an exclamation mark, and when I click on it, all I get is a page saying “There was an unexpected error” with a link to the forums.

I have no idea what to look for. I grepped through the log files for ERROR, but there’s nothing that jumps out to me. One suspicion I have is that maybe my ISP is doing some traffic filtering? (I’m in the UAE).

If it is not due to my ISP, perhaps somebody can give me some steps I can follow to further investigate this?

Unfortunately the free Live TV is not available in the UAE.

Ah darn, as I said, I suspected it was something like that.

As a suggestion: perhaps you can change the error message to inform the user that the service is not available in his/her country. The current message leads people to believe there is a problem.
