So I just recently bought a Roku ultra and as everyone with an ultra knows it has audio sync issues with DTS with the resolution of setting it to DD or DD+. Neither Roku or Plex is claiming the issue so that leaves me to where I am at now.
I was considering purchasing a Nvidia Shield to replace it but have questions in regards to the way I need it setup.
I purchased the Roku ultra specifically for 4K/HDR support but, I don’t have a 4k capable receiver. So I have it setup where the Roku Ultra is connected directly to my TV via HDMI and to my receiver via digital audio.
If I purchase the shield as a replacement does anyone see me having issues with passing through DTS 5.1 through my TV to my receiver?
Player = Roku Ultra OR Nvidia Shield.
TV = Samsung UN65JS8500
Receiver = Pioneer Elite VSX-23txh
