Plex is the best streaming application I know.
But what I miss as a feature:
I have an AV receiver that also supports streaming via Chromecast. Yes, it is somehow possible to stream from the tablet, but it’s not really nice.
What I would wish for:
A Plex app ghost function.
This would allow you to run the Plex app on the TV or Amazon Fire. But this is only used as a player and for visualization. The app is controlled in the LAN/WLAN via a tablet or smartphone with the Plex app.
This gives you the convenience of operation and the great visualization for everyone else on the TV.
