# Group albums by type

Server Version#:1.32.5.7349  
Player Version#:plexamp 4.8.2 / Plex web 4.108  
Hi! I’m looking for the “group albums by type” option that must be in the web app in settings-\>server-\>library advanced options, but is missing.  
I have server installed in a Synology DS118, Is possible that this version of server does not support that feature? Will be available in the future?

I’m not aware of any restrictions and can see the option on both bundled and hosted versions of Plex Web. Would you mind sharing what options you get to see in Settings \> Server \> Library (w/ advanced options enabled)?

Thanks for your answer, here is a screenshot, hope you understand a little Spanish. (Also thought was a translate bug and tried changing language, but menu is the same in English language)

Do you have your Plex server installed on a Synology NAS?

That makes sense. I don’t think it’s such a valuable feature, but must respect developers decision.
