Guide not updating, can't tune live TV, DVR not recording

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2156

Guide update stays at 0%, initializing. Attempting to watch live TV fails, DVR is not recording any shows. I tried to delete the DVR but it doesn’t stop trying to refresh the guide, and when I restart the Plex server the DVR is back again.

After looking at it, I found that it wouldn’t even play stuff that was in the libraries, kept getting codec errors. I uninstalled 1.18.4 and went back to 1.18.2 and now everything plays and works, but it’s still sitting at 0% initializing trying to refresh the guide.

It is having trouble writing to your storage, check for space and disk health. Is the E drive removable or internal?

The E drive is an iSCSI volume, but there was no problem indicated with that drive by Windows. I’ll check the Windows logs.

System event logs do not indicate any problems with the E drive. Everything except the guide refresh seems to be working fine at this point, but the guide refresh is still sitting at “0% initializing”. I can’t cancel or stop the refresh at all.

The obligatory “SQLite can be problematic running off a network drive”

I would remove the DVR, wait a few minutes then recreate. This should remove/recreate the tv database.

The Main database is another issue. Either restore a backup or attempt the database repair.

I have attempted removing the DVR. It appears to succeed, but it doesn’t really delete.

That sounds like corruption in the com.plexapp.plugins.library.db is preventing the delete from occurring.
