Not sure if this specific feature has been requested or in the works, but I didn’t see this exact request anywhere.
I would love to be able to use a low powered intel machine with the hardware accelerated hdr tone mapping feature. I know this is available on Linux, but I tried that route and had nothing but issues. If there is a technical limitation on why this can’t be done that makes sense, but I haven’t seen it explained anywhere.
