# Having Issue With Adding Movies

Please show the directory and naming structure you are using for the movies, including file extension.

Make sure you use Plex recommended naming and organization. If you change the name or folder structure, [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) the movie.

```auto
/Movies <-- Plex movie library points here. Exact name unimportant.
  /MovieName (year) <-- Each movie it its own folder.
    /MovieName (year).ext <-- ext = mp4/m4v/mkv etc.

```
