# Having trouble accessing Plex Media Server

Server Version#: 1.41.4.9463-630c9f557  
Player Version#: n/a

Trying to access plex media server on windows 11. Every time I try and open from system tray it gives me a Not authorized error message. I have attempted to claim server but you need be able to access server to claim it. [Plex.tv](http://Plex.tv) works and I’m able to see my buddies library he has shared with me . However I’m am unable to get plex media server running on my system due to this Not Authorized error message please help.
