# HD audio - Plex Client

Hi all
Is anyone aware of a Plex client that has HD audio pass through OTHER than the Nvidia Shield? (seems it’s unavailable most places in the UK). I have an XBOX360 gathering dust but from what I understand, loading Plex will not pass 5.1 through. Also have a couple of Now TV boxes but these are also no go.

A full blown HTPC with a HDMI v2.x port, running [OpenPHT](https://forums.plex.tv/categories/openpht/p1#top "OpenPHT") or [PMP](https://forums.plex.tv/categories/plex-media-player/p1#top "PMP") will do that of course.

Other than an HTPC i’m not aware of anything. And even on the shield plex can’t passthrough TrueHD. And can only do DTS-HD if it’s muxed properly. (I use a different player on the shield for that)
