I know there’s some popular updaters floating around already, but I’m picky and wanted things done my way - which is as user, at user level, and both user and distro agnostic. That means no root or sudo, and no specific users such as ‘pi’. That’s for the Plexamp installation, Node installation, Systemd service creation & their respective updating. It’s my opinion that all of this should be kept separate from the base system if you want to use that system for _anything_ else.
