Server Version#: 1.15.4.994 Player Version#: 3.100.1 I know this has been posted about 1000 times and I’ve got it working for Classic Doctor Who. But can anyone see what I’m doing wrong with Agatha Christie’s Poirot? [https://www.thetvdb.com/series/agatha-christies-poirot](https://www.thetvdb.com/series/agatha-christies-poirot) Regardless of how many seasons I try to add Plex starts to create a Poirot folder and a second later it’s gone. If multiple seasons then the whole thing goes away and is found nowhere. If I add just Season 01 it gets filed under Dragon Ball Z but episodes 1, 2, and 6 show correct thumbnail wise but the others show Dragon Ball Z thumbs. D:\PlayOn\Agatha Christie’s Poirot Season 01 Is underneath and where the episodes area. I DO HAVE A CORRECTION TO MAKE. As you can see above I was wrong and the path was not directly to the season. If I change it to the season then it works. If I manually add the second season then it is added to the right place. So it appears I’ve got a pathing problem. This works: D:\PlayOn\Agatha Christie’s Poirot\Season 01 D:\PlayOn\Agatha Christie’s Poirot\Season 02 thx ---

You may have “patched” it but it’s not fixed. The only path you should have is `D:\PlayOn` This is your `ROOT` path. Plex will scan anything in it and will match series from there. EDIT: On a side note. Can you imagine the sheer number of “seasons” you will have to add to plex. That would be insane!! OK, changing to the root fixed the problem. I don’t understand how adding folders that are subrooted would end up mis-identifying the name of the show but yeah this is easier. There’s other content in that folder that isn’t TV so that’s why I was doing it show-by-show. But Plex just ignored that other stuff and all is well. One other show was coming up as another kid anime show so there seems to be a bias towards that when something goes wrong. thanks ---

You will have to restructure your folders a bit but it can be done. Yep its best not to fight it. Just keep TV based stuff and Movie based stuff in separate root folders. The time it takes to initially organize your stuff is nothing compared to the benefits in the long term. ---

That’s fine if your content grabber does it the way Plex does. But mine doesn’t. I don’t see why my original method would cause so much grief. The good news is I just have a few shows so it’s not a terrible thing and PlayOn uses the same naming convention that Plex is looking for. ---
