# Help with file not being discovered

The ID in the file name should be perfectly OK.

I’d still try the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064).  
And since we have an mp4/m4v file here, make sure to demote embedded meta data in Plex, by disabling “Prefer local metadata” in the properties of the library (prior to performing the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064)).
