Hi,

I got a new "keyboard" for my rasplex. The fast forward and rewind buttons on them map to these keys:

>
>
> 01:45:54 T:1975263232 DEBUG: Keyboard: scancode: d0, sym: 0157, unicode: 0000, modifier: 0
>
> 01:45:54 T:1975263232 DEBUG: OnKey: 0 (f200) pressed, action is
>
> 01:45:56 T:1975263232 DEBUG: Keyboard: scancode: a8, sym: 0153, unicode: 0000, modifier: 0
>
> 01:45:56 T:1975263232 DEBUG: OnKey: 0 (f200) pressed, action is

In the xml keymapping file, how can I differentiate the two 0 keys?

I tried "FastForward and it didn't seem to work.

What type of 'keyboard' is it? Which keys are you trying to map on this 'keyboard'.

Regards

It's this keyboard: [http://www.amazon.com/Aerb-Wireless-Keyboard-Multifunctional-3-Gsensor/dp/B00K768DHY](http://www.amazon.com/Aerb-Wireless-Keyboard-Multifunctional-3-Gsensor/dp/B00K768DHY)

If you look at the keyboard, on the front side, it has a fast forward and rewind buttons on the top left corner, but they didn't work out of the box with plex / rasplex.

So I enabled the debug logging on plex, and looked to see which buttons it was mapping to.Now, I'm just unable to map those two keys.

Can you login via SSH and type irw and then press each of the buttons and post results back here indicating which is which. Control C will get you back out of irw.

Have just found this in the OpenELEC Wiki [http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=Guide\_To\_lirc\_rpi\_GPIO\_Receiver](http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=Guide_To_lirc_rpi_GPIO_Receiver)

Follow the guide and just create two entries, one for KEY\_REWIND and one for KEY\_FASTFORWARD (you could also create one for KEY\_STOP using a spare button on the remote), when finished reboot and test.

I tried it and nothing happened.

The usb dongle probably only replies to the 2,4ghz wireless connection and not the IR.

Sorry, didn't realise it was RF, not IR.
