# Help with Plugin "Mediatheken"

Hi,
instead of creating a topic for each question rising during the work on the plugin I’m going to concentrate here.
The plugin provides access to the media librarys of several german tv channels.
all videos (RTMP and flash-streams by the use of siteconfigs) but RTSP-streams are being played immediatly. Only with these Plex buffers for about 20 seconds. Is there any way to reduce the buffer time?
Can I add a function to the menu called by pressing “C”? I’d like to be able to set a preference through it.

There is an option for changing the buffer size in the preferences isn’t there?
As far as contextmenuitem you can customize them. Check the “FeedMe” plugin for an example.

Thank you ver much, this helped a lot. Just thought maybe you could customize the buffer for streams in a plugin.
