I am new to the world of mediacenter but I found PLEX a good option, I have an internet provider inside, I am thinking about putting a movie server to make available to my clients. But I have some doubts about plex.

I buy the premium can I manage my users to add and place without having to be giving invitation to register?
I’m thinking of running it on an AS3202T Asustor NAS for 100 users will it support?
Transcoding will it convert to be able to send the client?
Direct playback would be like a file share in Windows?

Since I appreciate any information

not quite… the NAS will barely be able to handle transcoding for 1 client (depending on the media) – [support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201373793-Is-Plex-Media-Server-on-a-NAS-Right-for-Me-](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201373793-Is-Plex-Media-Server-on-a-NAS-Right-for-Me- "https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201373793-Is-Plex-Media-Server-on-a-NAS-Right-for-Me-")

you can read the support page about Plex Home which describes how you can handle multiple users:

Plex is not for commercial use.

I see a world of legal problems in your future if you go down this path.

From the initial post I can tell this guy will have a competitive proposal for his potential clients.
