I am once again getting the “You’ve asked questions that now have answers” popup, but there are no posts with new answers.

I noticed this as well, for me it happened when I edited a previous post.
I had to make another post which I could then answer the question and that got rid of the notification message.

That seems to have worked. Thanks. I sure wish they’d figure out how this happens, and stop it.

Yeah. That stupid popup is what has me almost never asking questions. Even when the post should be a question I mostly start it as a discussion to avoid that problem.

BTW: I understand why we are now using this software to drive the forums but I detest it. I believe that forum software should be simple to use and simple to maintain and with all the fluff (badges, notifications, likes/dislikes, etc) this forum is anything but simple. And if a couple of enterprising users had not figured out how to modify a lot of the appearance it would be hideous to use. As it is it is just a bit unpleasant.

I can’t understand why you can’t preview a thread by hovering over it like on every other forum I’m on.

I posted this thread last year. It’s been completely ignored. It’s ridiculously hard to get attention on these forums. I’m frustrated.
