hi i'm brand new to plex need help

i have no media or anything stored on my computer. but have been using kodi. I’ve been reading that plex tv is the way to go so I subscribed to premium for a months trial. the only thing I can get to work is bbciplayer. I don’t mind starting at the beginning. what apps do I need n what plugins to get me up and running?

thanks for your help. i’m not a computer buff. downloaded git hub taking ages. i’ll let you know how I get on. basic stuff i’m after at the minute
