Hi all
Just wondering if anyone knows of a home movie scanner (or a way to display content in that structure in Plex Web and Plex for Android) that would work with the following format: (i did have a look at the default one but i dont really know anything about regular expressions)
Home Movies
=> Birthdays
=> Jessica
=> Birthdays - Jessica - 01.mp4
=> Birthdays - Jessica - 02.mp4
=> Sue
As opposed to having to do Birthdays folder followed by a 2010 or 2011 etc folder

I generally tell people to make a tv section but use the Personal Media Shows agent. You can still name it home movies. however things come put best if you use mp4s with embedded metadata so episode names are more descriptive than "Episode 01"

=> Show.jpg (image for the "show")
=> Season 01
=> Birthdays s01e01 Jessica - 2001.mp4
=> Birthdays s01e02 Jessica - 2002.mp4
=> Season-1.jpg ( for custom season poster with Jessica's pic)
=>Season 02
=> Birthdays s02e01 Sue - 2001.mp4
=> Birthdays s02e02 Sue - 2002.mp4
=> Season-2.jpg ( for custom season poster with Sue's pic)

I am trying to avoid having to use the Season 01/02/03 etc and replace that part with something more descriptive so as to make it much easier to navigate rather than having to remember what is in each Season folder, is there any way to do that or would i be better to learn how the regular expression stuff works and try that?
Not all the files will be MP4 either as we have some AVI and WMV from older camera equipment
