# Hosting plex server for clients: authentication

Hello,  
we host servers for our customers. Now we would like to expand our offer and provide plex servers.

My question is what is the best way to show the server in the user’s plex account. I have read that there is a plex [oauth](https://forums.plex.tv/t/authenticating-with-plex/609370). First of all, is it even technically possible to provide a server via oauth? I assume that after a successfully oauth login, I will probably get some kind of access / refresh token. Does this token then need to be saved to a specific config file or specified via command line arguments during plex startup? Are there any more resources to read about this?

Any such discussions and communications for this would need be done at the corporate level.

Your next best action is to begin / seek said discussions by submitting a ticket through the help/billing system at www.plex.tv
