# How do I reorder my plex libraries in plex settings interface?

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.42.2.10156-f737b826c-aarch64\_DSM72.  
Player Version#: ? I don’t know where to find that information.  
\<If providing [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only [debug logging](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/#toc-1) should be enabled\>

I have several libraries named #1, #8, #5, #7 , #6 etc. I”d like to reorder them as follows: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc.

Aren’t those sorted alphabetically (01 \< 03 \< 04 \< 05 \< 06 \< 20 \< 30)?  
From what I remember, they might be grouped by library type, then their title.

Oh, I see now, yes, they are grouped by type, that’s right.  
It therefore doesn’t seem possible to change this behavior, or does it?

No, it’s not – keep in mind, that’s just the library administration. That order has nothing to do with how the libraries are presented in a client.
