hi I added a Multi-episode file and named it as {show name - S04E01-E02 - first episode title & second episode title}. Plex identified it has two episodes but when we playing the second episode it starts from beginning.
is there any way to mention the end time of first episode and start of the second episode in a file name. then plex can play second episode exactly on second episode start time.
When you specify them as a single file containing part 1 & part 2 there is no method to play part 2 only.
To accomplish this you must break into its discrete episodes. A tool to remux this, such as mkvmerge, will accomplish this.

thank you very much for the reply. so I have to break that single file to separate episodes.
###Its a very good feature to have on future Plex releases. Then we can easily mention the next episode starts time and plex will do the rest.
While it is, there is no way of knowing where one episode ends and another begins in the file.
It would require PMS find the exact end of one and start of another.
If it’s done based on air time, and your first episode is a minute short for whatever reason, the second will be off.
It’s been discussed. A good solution hasn’t been found that doesn’t mandate modifying your files.

thank you very much for the reply. I got it. May be later on somebody will come up with a better solution for this issue.
