hi,

this may be a stupid question but ... how do you reboot rasplex ?

i hate pulling the power cable, so i have been using the "reboot" command from ssh. is there anything else i should be doing before rebooting (e.g. kill plex process).

i read on a different forum about the "shutdown" command, but it doesn't recognize the command.

thanks for your feedback !

Poweroff is the correct command to use from what I can see - "Shutdown" is not a recognised command.

That will restart the program, but it will not reboot the system, so it might not always be appropriate.

Though in many cases it's preferable, as it's faster and won't break SSH or SMB connections.

@everyone else: (vulcanjedi already knows ;) )

Future versions of RasPlex will have a "Restart" command in addition to the "Shutdown" command in the side menu of PHT.

That "Restart" command will do a full reboot of the system (just as for a new power-on).
So using SSH commands should only be necessary if the program has somehow crashed/frozen.
