Hi is there a way to adjust the amount of time that the DVR records when you watch live tv?

Because when I pause the live tv on my Nvidia Shield TV for more than a couple of minute, after I play it again the playback will stop after maybe 2 or 3 minutes.

Thanks

@jpgrenier, this has been an ongoing issue across various clients. If you search or look at threads like this one:

> [@Plex Client Can't resume paused live tv after long pause](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-client-cant-resume-paused-live-tv-after-long-pause/454095/15):

> I am seeing this issue with server version Version 1.18.5.2260 (and shield client with 3 hour screen saver setting, roku, or desktop). I can see usually around 220-230 files in the transcode directory before it gets killed. In the debug log I found these entries (bolded), and I certainly did not initiate the termination… Jan 25, 2020 10:40:40.152 [0x7f4582ffd700] VERBOSE - It took 0.0 sec to serialize a list with 0 elements. you will see that this behavior is not “working as designed/intended” currently and has been problematic for quite some time.

Thanks for the info, i didn’t see that thread. Seems like Plex is not trying to fix this bug because it’s been there since the beginning I started using Plex as my DVR(almost 2 yesrs ago). I’ll keep watching for some answers 🤞
