# How to edit plex metadata wit sqlite?

I have done what other tjreads have been saying but i can’t seem to find the database to open. But i realise thqt my library is on a synology nas.
Hiw do i use sqlite on an nas?

Depending on your skill / comfort with this, you can SSH into your NAS and run the SQLite executable from the server setup.
However you don’t need to run the SQLite app on the NAS… alternatively you can install Plex Media Server on any machine – not to setup/run another server but to get the `Plex SQLite` executable… then you just need to expose the database file and edit it from your local machine.
