I am trying to play mp3 files on my plex server, but Plex doesn’t find them and show them in my library. How to play them?

Thanks!

Arrange all of your music files like this.

In the Plex settings create a new Library with type Music and point it to this location.

Plex is EXTREMELY FUSSY about how music files are organized, named, and tagged. If your next question is “OK but how can I do music without actually following the directions, that is a lot of work,” then I have bad news for you, haha.
