I am using Last.FM for my music library #1 but I plan on switching over to the new Plex scanner. I will be creating a new library instead of risking ruining my current library with Last.FM.

I did a sonic analysis on my original [last.fm](https://last.fm) library which took almost a week.

How can I save the sonic analysis in order to not have to redo the analysis all over again on the new library?

Do you know where the sonic analysis is saved to?

I have a rough idea:
The result of each album’s analysis is first stored in the metadata package of this album. The metadata packages are stored in a hierarchical folder structure inside the [plex data folder](https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/). It is not easy to find out which folder is for which media item.

After all albums have been analysed, these results are being copied into a SQLite database, which is stored in a subfolder of the folder where the primary Plex database file is located: [Plex data folder](https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/)`/Plug-in Support/Databases/Music Analysis n`
If you deleted this database, it will be rebuilt from the analysis results which are stored inside the metadata packages.
