I have the Plexdash app on my phone, which shows which movies are playing, but how can I tell if my NAS is transcoding or using DirectPlay?

I cannot currently verify. From older posts, you should be able to switch the view to list enhanced information.

> Have you already enabled the Enhanced View for the now playing section via the page’s top-right corner context menu (...)? This should list all tracks and if there’s any transcoding going on (incl. icons to highlight if it’s CPU vs. GPU / hw-accelerated transcoding). [Exemplary Now Playing page with enhanced view enabled]

Yes, if I click on the extended view, it’s there. Thanks, the solution was simple, haha.
