# Html Api use with Plex Home

How can i connect to the PMS API when Plex Home is active? Usually i got to [http://Serveradress:32400/](http://Serveradress:32400/) and get an xml with available options. But when Plex Home is active i get only 401 errors.

the answer isn't there. only someone with a similar problem - once home is active the tokens alone don't work anymore

Wrong.....You'll from your app need to provide the token, preferred in the header of your request
