I have had intermittent remote access problems. I had a stuck cert problem, but that has been fixed. I started looking at log files and keep seeing this error:

WARN - [HttpClient/HCl#28] HTTP error requesting GET [https://192-168-0-31.616d22f1a02645e7bac9f0a9ffcc0b92.plex.direct:32400](https://192-168-0-31.616d22f1a02645e7bac9f0a9ffcc0b92.plex.direct:32400) (7, Couldn’t connect to server) (Failed to connect to 192-168-0-31.616d22f1a02645e7bac9f0a9ffcc0b92.plex.direct port 32400 after 3005 ms: Couldn’t connect to server). The problem is that the last two digits of the IP address -31 does not correspond to any address related to Plex on my network. In fact, looking at my router, it doesn’t seem to be related to any device.

So the questions are.

Can this error cause remote connection issues?

How do I correct it? So far I have not found any way to change this address.

I have tried entering a custom URL in the network section. But that did not change anything. The error persists

This may be completely unrelated, but for every line for each movie I get (13: Permission denied).

Is there a way to fix this. I have already given the Plex user full access permissions to the directories containing all of my media on the Synology.

Thanks in advance!

It is not relevant.
The address belongs to a server that has been shared with you – i.e. not your own. It is the IP in this server’s own _local_ network.
Plex clients will always try to contact servers on _all_ their addresses, because they cannot know which network routes are available and which are not.
