# HW transcoding not activating

Server Version#:1.40.3.8555  
Player Version#: 4.132.3

Essentailly ive tested this on unraid, unbuntu, and im currently trying on truenas and i cant for the life of me get transcoding to work, itll sometimes work if i go from 1080p to 720p but when its 4k - 4k transcoding ( at least i think that is whats going on, it is cpu transcoding

my current build is a 12700k, intel arc a380, 128gb ram, not using any network drives for plex
