# HW Transcoding stopped working

Player Version#:

Have been using Plex for quite some time. All of a sudden it will not HW Transcode anything. Direct playing is fine. I just get an error on the client that says “Error opening input”.

I have upgraded graphics card drivers, deleted the codecs folder and reset the system. I initially thought the problem only existed when viewing remotely, but can confirm this also happens on the local network.

Any help is much appreciated.
